BOE Sets Tax Rates for 2019-2020

On August 20, the Liverpool Central School District Board of Education established tax rates for the 2019-2020 school year.
The Salina tax rate will be $27.24 per thousand assessed value, while homeowners in the town of Clay will have a tax rate of $681.84 per thousand assessed value.
The budget adopted by the Board of Education on April 22 contained an estimated tax levy increase of 3.90 percent and identified an estimated zero percent increase in assessments for the towns of Salina and Clay. The average tax rate increase for both towns is 2.29 percent.
The 2019-2020 public library tax rates also were set at $1.20 per thousand assessed value in the town of Salina, and $29.90 per thousand assessed value in the town of Clay.
