Tuesday, February 25, 2020 -
Members of Liverpool High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes recently spent an evening helping those in need. The high school students, along with several parents and advisors, served 59 meals to those visiting the Road to Emmaus Ministry Outreach Center.
The Road to Emmaus Ministry of Syracuse, a local not-for-profit organization formed in 2008, serves the poor, hungry, isolated and homeless in the city of Syracuse. Each year, Emmaus serves 13,000 meals to those in need. The organization also provides community members with items such as shoes, socks and coats, as well as groceries and haircuts.
