LHS Marching Band to Hold Annual Bottle Drive
Friday, July 21, 2017 -
It’s time once again for the Liverpool High School Marching Band’s annual Bottle Drive Blitz.
On Saturday, August 5, marching band members will collect returnable bottles and cans to support their fall performances: a USBands Show in New Jersey and the USBands Regional Championship in Maryland.
Members will visit Liverpool-area neighborhoods between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. that day. Community members are asked to kindly leave their bottle "gifts" in a bag in front of their homes.
Community members also can mail a donation to help the LHS Marching Band. Checks should be made payable to the LHS Marching Band Boosters (LHSMBB) and mailed to PO Box 2371, Liverpool, New York 13089-2371.
This year, the LHS Marching Band is happy to work with local businesses Teddy Bear Redemption (4531 Route 31) and Liverpool Redemption (717 Old Liverpool Road).
In the event of extremely band weather, the bottle drive will be held on Sunday, August 6.
