LHS Musicians Perform with Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band

On September 22, twenty Liverpool High School students performed as members of the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band during a concert in the Setnor Auditorium at Crouse College on the Syracuse University campus.
Performing with the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band were junior Craig Dailey Jr., sophomore Maiya Fitzgibbons, sophomore Kara Tobin, junior Hayley Saint Amour, sophomore Allison Tierney, freshman Aaliyah Contento, senior Kelly Mahan, senior Mykenzii Kline, senior Elizabeth Gass, freshman Julia Payment, freshman Mya Vallat, senior Nate Wild, sophomore Dylan Arcaro, junior Connor Wood, sophomore Joshua Coldren, junior Jon Engler, senior Ben Hemmers, sophomore Ryan Giannetto, senior Tino Merulla and freshman Nick Dailey.
For the past 16 years, the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band has provided a unique opportunity for the most outstanding wind and percussion students from Central New York high schools. The groups rehearsed on four Sunday afternoons this fall, culminating in the final concert performance on September 22. Students are nominated by their high school band directors and are among the finest musicians from their respective schools.
