LMS Students Earn National Spanish Exam Honors

Twelve Liverpool Middle students recently received national honors for their performances on the 2017 National Spanish Exam.
LMS eighth-graders Sydney Carlson & Adam Marsh earned silver medals and eighth-grader Brandon Davis earned a bronze medal on the Level 1 exam. In addition, eighth-graders Shannon Carey, Jacob Crawford, Alyssa DiMillo, Delaney Gellert, Kimberlie Mitchell, Chase Parry, Lucas Thompson and Emma Uy earned honors medals. In all, more than 36,000 students took the Level 1 exam nationally.
On the Level 01 exam, LMS seventh-grader Connor McKeon earned a silver medal. More than 6,500 students took the Level 01 exam nationally.
The seventh- and eighth-graders were students in Barbara Patterson and Joyce Spado’s Spanish classes at LMS. The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese sponsors the annual National Spanish Exam.
