Distinguished Service Award
The Liverpool Central School District Board of Education has created an award in recognition of outstanding or long-standing commitment, contributions, dedication, achievement and/or community service by an individual or organization in our community.
This award will be presented to an individual or organization that meets ONE OR MORE of the following criteria:
- Has made a significant and positive impact on our community (the village of Liverpool, the towns of Clay or Salina, or the county of Onondaga) and who has made a difference in the lives of our district residents and/or students; or
- Has brought honor or positive public recognition to our community; or
- Has made significant contributions or enriched the quality of life, vitality, health, welfare, success or diversity of our community; or
- Is otherwise determined to be worthy of such an award.
Award recipients will be considered, selected and awarded at the sole discretion of the Board of Education. Award recipients will be selected using the aforementioned award criteria. It is not a requirement for the recipient to be a graduate of Liverpool High School.
