Inaugural Chestnut Challenge Held at CHM
Thursday, September 29, 2016 -
It may be the start of a new school year, but Chestnut Hill Middle seventh- and eighth-graders have already crossed an important finish line with pride and a sense of accomplishment.
CHM students and staff recently participated in the inaugural Chestnut Challenge, a one and a half mile walk/run around the school’s campus. The challenge officially introduced students to The Positivity Project, a movement dedicated to helping America’s youth build stronger relationships by recognizing the character strengths in themselves and others.
In addition to the Chestnut Challenge, the CHM seventh- and eighth-graders gathered for a school-wide group photo and participated in a scavenger hunt that asked them questions about overcoming challenges.
